About my practice —

Rich, emotional narratives have always been the cornerstone of my artistic practice. Art-making has accompanied me throughout life as a method of dwelling in my most poignant experiences. To me, sitting with visual narratives is a gateway to both insight and agency. Over the past decade I have built a self-led, intuitive practice, commemorating impassioned moments and dreamlike stories. My figurative paintings blend intimacies of the human experience with abstraction, inviting viewers into a deeply personal, yet transcendent, world.

You can view some of my finished paintings here on my website. Follow along with my works-in-progress on Instagram and Substack.

I also enjoy collaborating as a digital illustrator on story-led projects. I have saved examples under the Design Projects tab for Sitka Salmon Shares and the Conference on World Affairs.

About me —

I was born and raised in a little town in northwestern Illinois. My experiences living in Colorado, Alaska, Italy, and North Carolina have greatly shaped both me and my work. I am fascinated by the people I’ve connected with throughout this movement, and the poignancy of each of these connections is at the core of why I create.

I currently reside in Chicago, IL, and am eager to make connections and collaborate. Leave me a note by filling out the form below.
